Granville 0-2 Mungret
Big 3 pts for us this morning, our first away win of the season. Started well and we could of scored a couple inside the first few minutes from mistakes at the back. Granville had 2 goals disallowed in the first twenty mins too, the first of which seemed harsh (we'll see what zizou says!) the second the correct decision. We scored a cracker from 30 yards to lead 1-0 at HT. Thought we dominated 2nd half with Granville not having any chance at all I think?? Scored 2nd with 15 left. Overall deserved the win I think but I think if either of the disallowed goals were given it would of been a different game.
Pike 0 -2 Hibs Ken Buckley and Davy Wall for Hibs.

Good game this morning played between 2 teams who both tried to play football on a sticky pitch. We couldn't of had a better start scoring inside the first 2 mins through a Des o Donoghue header. We were much the better side at this stage and missed chance after chance, fairview then won a blatant pen which they scored. We re-took the lead within 5 mins of the views goal from Brian ahern. HT 2-1. 2nd half was a much closer affair with the view having plenty of the ball without ever really testing our keeper. We went 3-1 up with about 20 left through Eugene McNamara. Fairview then pulled one back after good passing but poor defending from our part. We held out in the end for a good 3 pts, in fairness I thought the view were a v handy side & probably given the fact their a
teams game was off had a full team to choose from. Special mention to ref donal power thought he had a good game, well able to keep up with play and understood the difficult decisions.
