The part about the centre half telling the striker that the ref would give ye nothing is absolute rubbish. I was one of the centre halves, spoke to the other two, and that is absolute bullsh*t. Do you honestly think a referee would tell a player on a team that?! Complete lies.
The free kick you're on about was debatable.... I agree. But there were a few others that could have been given as well.

In relation to the red card, I didnt actually see what happened to be honest. But the linesman coming on and pushing the ref, and threatening him with the flag was shocking. If what I heard is true, then it shouldnt have been a straight red. But the way some of yer players reacted later in the game with bad challenges could have warranted two or three red cards. Some terrible tackles went in.

No mention of the referee giving our player a second yellow for absolute nothing. Two players mouthing at each other, and he gives our player a second yellow. Disgraceful.

It's a pity the game ended like that because aside from the terrible behaviour of yer touchline, ye played some very good one touch football with 10 men. And yer 2 centre halves are very solid.

Good result for the View considering they were missing a good few regulars.

dines very good yesterday by all accounts.
view B team played as well as they could considering that some of the players that might normally play with them(minors) were called up to the A team.
looking nailed on that the dines will get promoted....and they have a great chance of winning the league outright.
would be delighted to see them back in the premier

Poor defeat and a game we had more than enough chances to win. Nobody more guilty of missed chances than myself, should have bagged at least a brace. Alan Daly did manage to score a fine solo effort but we conceded two sloppy headers and failed to take advantage of massive possession in the 2nd half.
Best for us: Czech.

Well we have been missing alot of chances all season. But it kind of clicked yesterday Gerry Kelly scored 4 and Brian Keane got 1.

Given our position at present I can't argue with your logic, however I fully expect us to turn this around, and have 100% faith in our squad. Hard work and heart needed now, and a splash of luck maybe aswell. Nothing comes handy in this division.

Caherdavin have no game in the FAI as they are in round two and await the winners of Croom v Meanus from round one.
Geraldines have drawn Prospect in round one and why they dont play is beyond me, the only reason I can think of is that Prospect have a free weekend pre booked, as they have no league game either.
