He was interviewed on Radio One today .... he came across fairly well to be honest. I thought the questions could have been a bit better but he answered them well and made it sound good.

in disgusted! the boss of the FAI not knowing our real name. in tonights Leader, he is quoted (or is he)saying...he appealed to the business community in limerick, to support te sustained efforts of Limerick Football Club.....see even the CEO of the FAI doesn't know our name. once more so for Fran...we are Limerick Football Club Football Club![]()

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
I have to be honest, I'm pretty fond of the man and do feel he is kicking ass in the FAI. He's been in the post just over a year now and you have to admit, big changes have been made. More to come please Mr. Rooney.Originally Posted by A face

Ya have an awful ot of time for the guy. Nice to see a business brain mixed with a football brain. Hope he has continued success and it would be nice to see his dynamism brought to the EL.
i like Rooney too i was joking about him calling us by what we all think our name is but someone high up in our club thinks we're called limerick football club football club lol. yea i like Rooney
