Whilst waiting for her beloved Ingerlund to take the field later, Mrs PP has just drawn my attention to a tricolour with "Cork City" emblazoned across it at the above match. It's on the left-hand side as the Swiss 'keeper looks up the field (first half) and level with the edge of his penalty area.
You biys get everywhere!

Cork City: Making 'Dream Team' seem realistic since 2007.
For anyone who didn't see, i took the liberty of taking a picture of the flag on telly. I'll get it on a site ASAP.
Great laugh to see it! Over here in London, everyone's bin coming over and saying things about it. Talk about free publicity!

That same City flag is currently on display at the Sweden game. There's probably a lot of Malmo fans at the game or watching it on TV so it'd be interesting to see if they notice it.
btw, they were just showing some of the Swedish women in the crowd before the game. I'm looking forward to Malmo!!![]()
Champions!
Where exactly is the flag, Colm? I cant spot it.

It's now on show near the halfway line again at the Latvia-Czech Rep. game.
Fair play!
John Creedon mentioned the City during his Radio 1 programme today. Someone e-mailed him to say that it was a City supporter living in Stockholm. Some guy from up the country said that it was definetly Celtic supporters as there was 2 Celtic players playing in last nights game Petrov and Laarsen. (This was before John C found out that the flag had been at the Swiss match on Sunday). John only laughed at this suggestion and said no way were they Celtic supporters but were definetly part of the Rebel Army lost on their way to Malmo
PS ALso can be seen now at the Latvia v Czech game

Anyone want to have a guess at the number of times this flag will have appeared at Euro 2004 games before the end of the tournament?
I'll go 10 for starters
