colbert more than good enough for cork and any other team for that matter, would still be at limerick were it not for scully.sheedy a bright talent ,hope that talent is not ruined, mcgarry not good enough.scully has more in the pipeline.
Wayne is definitely good enough, probably a better player than Greg O'Halloran at this stage and would be an ideal fit for that role in the Cork team imo. Should have been kept at Limerick aswell when you consider that earlier in the season we tried Peter White, Calla and Broughall in that sitting infront of the back four role before finally scrapping it.
He'd be pretty highly rated around the league aswell I'd say, I remember three games against Dundalk in Oriel Park where he absolutely ran the show, was the talk of their bar afterwards.
Having said all that Cork are supposedly all out for Joe Gamble so if they are actually interested in Wayne maybe it's as a Plan B??
No resentment at all why would there be id love to have Wayne back.
No way is he better then Morissey or Duggan in the middle of Corks midfield though i had forgot they play O Halloran holding he is better then him alright.
Bit of a difference between Pike Athlone and Cork though.
Just a friendly note...keep this topic sensible, no ridiculous rumour or innuendo, be able to back up your sources or infractions will be handed down, and please don't turn it into a junior v senior farce thing again.
Thanks
Keith Harnett praising Pa Mullins in todays Star, he has said Pa is the best junior player he has ever played with and he is only 21. He mentions Limerick where after him. Wonder if we still are? He thinks he is up to Premier LOI level.
Did McGarry play a pre-season game with Limerick a few years back or am I imagining things? Possibly against Bray (or Dublin City) in Jackman?
The ball is round and has many surprises.
Ya he played in Jackman alright. It was the first season we where back in Jackman as Limerick 37. He has played a few times in a tournament for the Irish Junior International team during the summer and that has always had an affect on him signing along with other things I'm sure.
I would be surprised if he does sign to be honest. He could just be training with the team for the moment. A lot of players train but don't sign in the end.
Is Pa Mullins actually talking to Limerick??
Also would I be right in thinking he's very good??
He is very good,as good as what limerick have at the moment,
If Limerick are after Pa Mullins we could do with him asap. Especially with Calla out for the rest of the season and Purcell out for Shels.
