Glaway were bad hoof ball thing as usual but my god this was the worst performence this season by far with the game in Galway in second place. too bad to even comment on!
Sounds like a real hammering in the second half - scoreless at the break.

Just one comment though, is it in the players contracts not to shoot from the edge of the box, our guys seem to want to walk the ball into the net, not testing the opposition goalie enough, the ball is played too much accross midfield where we are no threat to anyone.Midfield have to support the strikers more, we have no options open once the ball reaches O'Brien. We are making it easy for everyone that comes here.
Limerick FC 0-3 Galway United
Galway United consolidated their position in the top five of the eircom League First Division table with a comfortable victory over west-coast rivals Limerick at the Pike Rovers Sports Ground early on Saturday evening, when defender Conor Frawley proved the unlikely goalscoring hero for the Tribesmen.
Frawley got on the end of two crosses into the area, beating home keeper Jimmy Fyffe on both occasions to fire Galway to the three points.
In between Frawley’s brace, another Ryan Casey cross into the area was poorly defending by the Lims, Barry Moran getting on the end to fire his ninth goal of the season, making him joint top scorer in the division along with UCD’s Willie Doyle.
The win closes the gap between Galway and third place, the final promotion spot, to just three points following Bray’s failure to beat Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds later on Saturday night.

Worst match ever at the pike
it was bad alright.
this Dupuy lad for galway. no 10. handy player. heard on the radio yesterday that he started the season with prospect (junior club) here in limerick.
someone slipped up there. we could have had him. although he went down to easy and signalled to the ref to book players -which annoys the hell outta me - he was far better than what we had.
as for cp o briens attitude...sulking and giving out when you dont give him a pass? i havent seen that since under 8s. although in all fairness to him he battled well seeing as he was the lone striker.
I'll confirm that the French guy played with Prospect last January as I played against him. He was handy that day but would never have thought he'd play LOI. Rumour had it then, that he went to train with Limerick (remember a French student in LIT being discussed here pre-season...think he represented France at underage) but laughed at the Set-up. Thought he had joined Cork...but must have been Galway as it was definitely him on Saturday.
There are a lot of players at Limerick that like Dupuy Dont look great playing Junior eg ...Frank Browne Turned away from Janesboro last year and Mike Ahene ...Fairly average playing Junior soccer...never stood out much...but fair play to those guys for putting in the effort with Limerick
