Ben Savage departs
United defender Ben Savage has left the club. Signed in the close season after being released by UCD, Savage had played right across the back four for United this season. A promising defender, it is believed that he decided to leave the club due to a lack of first team opportunities.
Surprised that he couldn't get into the team. Not exactly our greatest player ever, but then Monaghan aren't exactly the greatest team ever...
Apparently he was a bit pi$$ed off at not getting first team chances so it may not be down to him not performing but some sort of problem with the manager or something.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
