Was actually only joking about Connolly (and the rest actually) though I'd love to see him back and he will be playing Championship next season.
I think he's too old though to get a call from Trap no matter how good he plays. Trap's hatchet has fallen on him I reckon.
Plus we're not exactly in a bad state striker wise. I think Folan and Stokes have found their way out of the team for the forseeable future and in steps Cox who looks more than capable. With a strikeforce of Keane, Long, Doyle, Cox and maybe Best we're doing just fine

Sammon will have a full Premier League season next season as well, and Noel Hunt is still on the fringes of the squad.

Walters too has looked decent in the Pl this season and I think practicalities will see him tussle with Best for the "Doyle battering ram replacement" role.
