Of course he still needs to prove himself at the highest level, cause any player who hasn't played in the EPL hasn't really done it

Dav be serious youv'e seen him take penos for Celtic, after 2000/2001 it was one of the weakest parts of his game (got to the stage where I stopped celebrating the award of penos as I had no faith that he would score.

he was outstanding tonight (although Bulgaria contributed to their own downfall) his header will be repeated for a long time as one of the goals of this tournament.

delighted for him, if he keeps at this rate maybe he'll finally get the recognition he's deserved for so long now.

They don't call him the King of Kings for no reason.

Larsson on course to outscore the apparent "world class" Michael Owen for the 2nd successive tournament.

    A gret player.
Couple of good finishes last night. The header was the best goal of the tournament to date.

Should guarantee him a move to Barca?

    Legend.

He hasn't joined anyone yet has he?I reckon one of the big boys in the prem might step in.Chelsea, maybe,Liverpool if they don't get the french guy Cisse.Arsenal could use another striker and Man u would definately be improved by his presence, who knows but if he keeps playing like he did last night he can have his pick of clubs,in Engand or anywhere for that matter.

Come to Cork City we'll fit him in somewhere.

He's first goal last night was just unbelievable, the technique to carry off such a diving header was brillant!!

His through ball for the last goal was also a nice touch

While I would love to see him in a City jersey, I was reading that he wants to play for Barca.
And given the choice between City, Liverpool or Barca...........I'd choose City first, Barca second and would retire rather than play for Liverpool.

Read somewhere that he wanted Ibrahimovich(sp?) to take it, so that all the strikers got off to a scoring start, helps with confidence etc... Shows what a team player he is. Though I'd agree with your sentiments entirely and would never be confident of Henke putting away a pen after the number of them Ive seen him miss!!!!
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?

Yeah henrik is not the peno taker for sweden anyway , so the only reason for taking it would have a been to complete the hat trick, at this level you cannot get into that business as IMO it shows a lack of respect for the opposition. It is like the indident with Forlan for Utd wanting to take a penalty and Keane taking it off him and giving it to Ruud Van Nistelrooy. You gotta be professional to the last minute and not let up in the pursuit of excellence.

Larsson won't be joining any Premiership club. He left Celtic so he could play in sunnier climes and Barca appear to be favourites to secure his majestic talents.

You'd probably retire because your so brilliant that the most succesful team in english history, even if they are struggling to get back to those great days might want ya.Hmmm, you must be some player. Muppit or a Manure fan.

Anyway Larsson is heading to sunny Barca I'd say.I read in the papers today that 32 teams want to sign him with 8 english clubs looking for his signature, but not one of the big 5 in the premiership tried to get him.Major blunder by them methinks.

Wrong. Henrik was the nominated pen taker before the game started.
Paranoid not, knowing the truth yes.
