WHat is the salary for the IRFU? Whats the FA equivalent salary over in ENgland or lets say scotland of similar size, but yet with 2 very big teams(well supported) in their league.
I got my season tickets a few days ago and desite being assured when I paid for them that they would be much closer to the action were 15 rows further back. I gave them a call and talked to a very charming lady who is going to sort the whole thing out for me before the next game. So anyway went along tonight with my 2 mates who are on my account and while they got in okay I was denied entry and had to go over to another lady with a clipboard to get a ticket which got me in. we sat in the best seats we could find, which wasn't difficult we had a lot of choice. I wasn't the only person huddled around the clipboard either, makes you wonder about who's in charge.

Just feed me more VB,Just pour my beer,And get my smokes, And go away
My seats, which were poor anyway, have been moved 3 rows further back and a number of seats towards the edge of the pitch. Didn't even think to check them before the game as my Croke Park seats stayed exactly the same all the way through (and I didn't have an allocation in Lansdowne as-was)
Shall be getting on to the FAI tomorrow if I get a chance...
Mailed them again this morning and got a reply saying
"Please accept our apologies for the issues with your Season Tickets.
We are reviving this over the coming days and throughout next week.
We will contact you personally to discuss the options to provide satisfactory seating to you"
Got the same response.
I heard from a friend who has mates working in the FAI that there was some error with their IT system. That instead of allocating the lowest seats to season tickets first, they actually allocated the upper rows first. Not sure I believe it, but am starting to get rightly ****ed off with how we are treated by the FAI. Its not like they have huge demand for the seats these days!!!
Got an email, apparently sent at 8 minutes to 10 (!), saying that new ST cards will be sent out to me next week.
After following up with them again, I got an email to say that my seats had been moved down so many rows and that new season tickets were on the way and would have them before the Slovakia game. (I remain sceptical whether I will get them in the post in time, wouldnt surprise me if I have yet to collect them on the day). But in general happy that they finally sorted me out with the better seats.
Finally got a mail from them telling me my seats had been moved and that they would send me out new swipe cards today. We'll see.....
Nothing arrived here. Shall call in the morning...
Were you swipe card last 'season'?
New cards didn't arrive, old card (singular, my partner was busy at the last minute) still worked. Rest of my row was full this time compared to just us last time!
Will get back on to the FAI...
