That's right. A game Galway lost 6 nil. Would have been handier with a keeper. I don't recall two yellows, but you could be right. It seemed like a ballistic over the top reaction from Buttimer, and that week's Soccer Republic gave credence to that idea. I remember the incident you refer to and thinking to myself "that sums it all up!". I also remember having to cross the main stand with a steward to go to the toilet, and one rovers fan going "ah jaysus, don't throw him out, it's bad enough they're losing"
