A less polite reporter might interpret that as stupidity. The idea of McGeady or Hunt running at a make-shift right-back would actually imbue one with a certain sense of confident anticipation.

The guy in question is a 6ft 3in CB who according to this recent report linking him with Sheffield Wednesday, has "a tendency to pick up yellow cards but not because of a temper, just aggressive play and not being afraid of contact."
