You think this is the first person ever killed by the US government in this manner?

You think that only the US and Isreal do this?

Yes, Al-Qaeda are murders and are covered in the boold of innocent people which is unacceptable in any normal soceity!
You have to ask the question why are they doing this?
May be it has something to do with US/Isreali actions on arabs?
The vast amount of top business men, investment banks etc in manhatten are owned or run by jews (nothing against jews brought a jewish women from manhatten to an irish wedding in new jersey, we had a great party).

I'm sure the monkey would have talked if they water boarded him!!!

No, it's not. Edison certainly electrocuted an elephant, but that was to demonstrate electricity. And it was more than 100 years ago. Can you even explain, for the love of god, how they got the elephant into the chair?

Any chance we can get back to proper discussion? You know, with facts and stuff, instead of utter nonsense?

Plenty of animated evidence to suggest that you can get several elephants into a small car, so presumably one would fit into a chair?

I known its a tad off subject!

I will try and back up the elephant story with some hard facts. (It was an answer to a question in a fundraising pub quiz I was partisipating in, my you i had the beer goggles on that night).

I think you're probably thinking of Thomas Edison, himself and, I believe, Nicola Tesla, were fighting over whether AC or DC was used for the electricity grid in the US. To show how dangerous AC was, Edison used it to kill an elephant, conveniently neglecting to mention that the equivalent DC current would have left the elephant just as dead.

Bizarrely, despite the fact that I don't actually believe in an organised "Al Qaeda", I'm more inclined to believe that than the US.

But of course because there isn't an Al Queda, it's probably just the CIA anyway, doing what they do.

Hm, the press release does sound a bit like a Hollywood B-movie script, so you might be on to something.

Either that or terrorists have become a lot more flowery in prose since P O'Neill retired/got elected to the NIA/Westminster/Dail etc.

further to this - let us not forget the scenes of unbridled joy from certain areas of the middle east as news of the attacks on the WTC broke. Uncouth, undoubtedly, on both occasions but definitely understandable to varying degrees.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

A selection of five home-made videos allegedly seized during the raid on Bin Laden's compound have been released to the media by US authorities: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-13323060

The Pentagon has released home videos of Osama Bin Laden, seized at the secret compound in Pakistan where he was shot dead by US special forces last week.

The tapes show him watching himself on television, and preparing a video message addressed to the US.

At a news briefing in Washington, the Pentagon also released a propaganda video recorded by Bin Laden.

In total, five videos were seized during Monday's US commando raid.

This will ramp up the fun for the hang em high mob in the US and UK, they'll love it.

One thing I've been asked by a colleague who questioned some Irish friends of his who said that Osama being murdered was not all that bad. "How do you feel about the people in Gibraltar?" It took a second to remember the operation that was never meant to take unarmed people hostage. Shoot to kill means the killers can write the headlines.
