I agree with that but the second one never arrived. Derry were brutal bad - couldn't believe how far back they had gone from the first game of the season and it would have been a travesty if they had got anything from the game.
Alan Kelly had no option with regard to any of the cards and the daftest one of the lot was for a defender for diving. Bold boy, Gavin.

The sending offs in our game were clear. It was the first yellow cards for Deery and Friars that I felt were harsh, but both should have known better after being booked. Surreal game, wasnt a 3-0 by any means, or was it a dirty game at all. Poor first half, 2nd half Sligo controlled when we imploded. Nothin much else to say on the game realy

No offence but Sligo were pretty **** too. That was probably our worst performance of the season, and until the peno's and sending offs, you hardly threatened.

I dont know if it was over-confidence from Friday night or what, but i'm sure we'll be alot different on Friday night

Good win for Pats tonight. Always on top but behind thanks to couple of errors. First was an OG (clearly) and 2nd a penalty. Gave handball when shot lashed at from 3 yards away

After that we created tons of chances and deserved at least the 5 goals we got. Daryl Kavanagh superb for 3rd game running. Nice league debut for left back Jake Carroll too

Probably a fair result tonight in Dundalk, actually a stronger Dundalk in the second half could have won it.

dfx, we`ll reserve our (bi) annual beating for you until the Setanta Cup Final.

am I correct in sayin that Alan Murphy is Galways all time scorer after scoring tonight.. he was very close to passing paul mcgees all time record goalscorer??
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

    Mad game in Sligo!

Both teams didn't play well at all and when Sligo went down to 10 while we were down to 9 Derry actually had more of the ball!

All the decisions were correct in my eyes so best to move on and look forward to three home games V UCD,Drogheda and Bray!
So if you think Bohs are big read this. http://www.astronomy.ie/perpespective.html

    Me hole.

Only farcical officiating by tomney & his cohorts, and that sandpit of a surface which reduces games to student league kick and rush rubbish , prevented the Champions from recording another victory on the road.
I can only asume your fans are saving up for their Big Day Out in Tallaght in a few weeks time as there was sweet FA there today.

When Shams dont win-Blame anything bar your ability
Refs, the pitch, the intimidating home crowd !! Turnstyles with nails in them and the bad stewards are just a few excuses that shams fans have thrown out today.Do you wont to add MichealO'Neills period pains to the list

We should put "Our Big Day out against the mighty Sham Rovers in the magnificent Tallaght Stadium" on our promotional posters...

there was no intimidating crowd. its was a sunny bank holiday afternoon kick off in a run down kip of a stadium.

as for the junkie piping up . content yourself with midtable little fellah , and know your place.
