Great reading this on the bbc site:

2202: There are no Scottish sides in the Europa League, but there will be one team from the Republic of Ireland in Friday's draw for the group stage. Shamrock Rovers have beaten Partizan Belgrade 2-1 after extra-time in Serbia, for a FAMOUS 3-2 aggregate victory.

Brilliant result. I've been trying to watch the dodgy Serbian stream in New York and my nerves were gone. Great for the league and great for the country.

This is a victory for the entire league. It is for every fan that has been sneered at by Irish Celtic, Liverpool, Arsenal etc etc fans.

    Thank you Shamrock Rovers.

When you think of the state rovers were in 6 years ago! An example to all clubs in Ireland. Congrats to all connected with the club.
