I'm not sure. In one way, it would be great for Rovers, a huge attendance, they'd probably fill Lansdowne if they wanted to, so a big cash windfall. And of course a great advert for the league if they did well. On the other hand, it would be horrifically embarrassing to witness 55,000 Irish people watching a football match, and for 45,000 of them to be cheering against the Irish team.
There is two qualifier paths to the champions league: champions path and non-champions path. The 10 qualifier round 3 winners will compete in the champions path play-offs with the 5 winners going on to the CL group stage.
10 teams will be competing in the non champions path play-offs. They qualified for this stage through their league position and 5 winners from here will also go through to the CL group stage
