Massive win for us as we seemed to always struggle down there for the last number of years. It was a great victory considering the number of players missing. Big game at the weekend against Swinford the only team to take points off us in the first half of the season. Should have the O'Boyle's and Ioseph back from holiday. Gerry Burke will be also availabe for selection following his signing from Ballyheane. I heard that a new crop of Hoops had there first outing for the club when the U-12 B & C teams (old U-11) had games with there Manulla counterparts.

Big weekend for the club with 2 big cup games and 2 big league games. The under 17s take on K&K Utd at Celtic tomorrow in the Mayo Cup semi final, and at 7pm the lads look to close the gap on the Superleague title against Swinford at home. A win for Celtic would be huge.
Sunday the Women play Mervue in the first round of the FAI Intermediate cup and on Monday Celtic take on Ballyheane in the Under 17 League decider. All games at home, best of luck to everyone, especially the pitch!
