Surprise For Morgan & Collier

Chris Morgan and Stephen Collier have surprisingly been shown the door at Linfield.

Manager David Jeffery felt Chris had to go to make room for new signings and Stephen had been plagued by injury last season.
I hope my Wee Duns' take note.

Although I don't think we could afford either players wages.

Spoke to Chris outside the Estadio da Luz prior to England vs Portugal. He happily admitted his affections for Glentoran as a nipper but was less-than-forthcoming when pressed about his plans for the upcoming season, save for the safe "Well, Ive spoken to a few clubs".

When the beers wore off the next day, I vaguely remember getting my picture taken with him .... a matey, arms-around-the-lads pose.

Still a decent bloke who would make a useful addition to any squad ..... 'cept for 'da peepil'.

Larmour before Morgan, I mean, does Jeffrey just toss a coin?

Sorry but was the last non-glens player to score in an IC Final not Jody Tolan of Coleraine 2 seasons ago (to deny us the clean sweep)

Was glad to hear we had signed a recognised forward like Morgan, I thought we should have bought him from the Crues years ago. Nice that we nicked from the scum as well.
