I'd imagine there'd be live GAA on that day. Doubt its for TV
DundalkFC v Galway Utd FAI cup match has been changed from Friday 3rd June to Sunday 5th June with a 3pm KO.Not sure yet if this change is for TV purposes but cant see any other reason for the switch to the Sunday ??
If required, a replay will take place at Terryland Park on Tuesday 7 June, kick-off 7.45pm.

If Dundalk are moving the fixture for anything else other than TV coverage then its a shocking disgrace Fans 2nd best again.
Strictly Come Dancing is on in the Youth Devel Centre on Friday night, and there is usally a party booked most fri/sat nights (which usually takes place in the YDC), I still dont see why this should be reason to change a match though, the bar in the centre of the stand would still be open.
These are obviously big revenue sources for the club, but things like this should never interfere with a scheduled league match night.
Now for cup games, I could be wrong, but I do think clubs have the option of playing over the 3 weekend days.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).

Ireland only?!?!?! since when have they made LOI games Ireland only?
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

False hope is worse than no hope. Ask Sligo.
Sligo Rovers Vs. Derry City, 3rd September on RTE with a ridiculous kick-off time of 2.45pm.
Dundalk vs Shamrock Rovers on Setanta that evening too. 5.30 k.o.
