Limerick where useless. Wexford threw everyone behind the ball, their keeper was excellent and their player finished his chance excellently, lobbed Ryan from about 35 or 40 yards out near the sideline.

Derry look a good young side. Nice to see a team of mostly local lads gelling into a quality outfit. Kenny has to take a lot of credit for the way he has them playing. I think McGlynn will be a big player for them this year. Hawkins looked a liability for Dundalk. As clumsy a player as I've seen in a while and I've seen the Jaycist a few times this season! Their away form is letting them down if they want to contend for a European spot. Good game all round.
Not much looking forward to the drivel that Pats will serve up tomorrow night.

Derry in the first half looked a different team from the team that played against Salthill and Bray and I believe this is down to the fact that Kenny switched to 4-4-2. Eamon Zayed for example looked a different player, finally having a player to aim his headers at etc. As Bilco said McGlynn and Greacan were outstanding as was Shane McElhinney, Kevin Deery and Danny Lafferty. McClean and Mcglynn had those full back hanging out of their own arseholes and Mark Quigley didn't seem interested at all, as well as Byrne. Great victory and up to second. Excellent night all round.
Derry City FC, re-generated almost as often as Doctor Who.

Rovers could be playing there now with Bray gone home and the score would be 0-1. Well deserved away win.
    The Model Club

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

You want to be careful of taking opinions straight from the Bohs forum stu! Not the most balanced of viewpoints. Ger had one save to make before the goal went in (on the stroke of half time). Your second was after a horrible defensive slib, possibly due to the awful pitch. Hardly "all over" us. Ye were worth the win no doubt, but more because we were so poor than for any excellence on your part.

I think ye're relaively speaking at the same level as last year compared to us. Given how much we've weakened, that's not exactly a compliment!

Anyways, thank God the rugby season is over now. If we ever go back to winter football, we're screwed.

Pretty much what you said there.
My personal man of the match was Mc Clean, he was brilliant on the wing and terrorised the Dundalk full back.
But something struck me watching that game, obviously Derry were well worth the win and Dundalk were cack but the overall work rate by the Derry team was immense. Its one thing playing nice football but its another thing having such levels of motivation, really professional performance.
