Bohs Last Man Standing - League of Ireland Edition

    Hi all,

The Bohs LMS Committee has organised a LOI last man standing competition, the first move away from the usual english premiership format.

If anyone is interested in joining please do so. One entry costs e20 (half to prize pool and half to the Dalymount Trust). There are also incentives for multiple entries - 3 plays for e50 and 7 plays for e100.

The LMS has been really successful for Bohs in the past and we'd like to thank the people from foot.ie who have registered and played in the past.

registration and details to be found at http://www.eventelephant.com/LMSLOI

(mods, if there are any objections, please feel free to move)

Quick question Stu, where does the money raised by the Dalymount Trust go to? Is it given to the Bohs board in order for them to keep signing players they can't afford knowing the fans will bail them out again or is it going to be kept as a seperate fund by the fans to ensure the long term future of the club? If it's the latter I'd certainly consider supporting it.

HulaHoop, if you're intereted in joining the Pats one; the money is kept for use by the Patron Saints. Which means the money can't be used for wages etc but for stuff that will have long term benefits for the club. They recently paid for brand new health monitoring equipment for example. Each proposal is voted on by Patrons

You can pay via paypal to stpatsfundraising@gmail.com (Entry is by text or e-mail each week)

Dalymount Trust funds are NOT handed over to the club directly and will NOT EVER be used to pay things like wages/bonuses. As things currently stand the funds will be used to systematically pay/reduce old debts only and will be paid on behalf of the club thus trying to reduce the chances of us being wound up by creditors. Since the latest news from the board about increased expenditure, at the urging of members and non-members, all funds raised by the fans will go to the Dalymount Trust only. Members of the trust vote on which debts to pay. Long term we are hoping to be able to use the funds to upgrade Dalymount itself though that is an ambition that depends largely on the actions of others.

I would love if you could join up HH - we have had a few entries from Rovers fans in the past for both LMS and Fantasy Football (i think one even may have won one of our FF's though not sure).

Excellent idea, a new joint Bohs/Pats (or even Pats/Bohs) initiative - who wants to sign up to put "hoops 1" down ? (at his own request ).

I can see it developing as a major money spinner
