    Mayo League Division 3 2011

    Lads,

I see this Division is a new 10 team division with a loads of B teams in it and the new team of Newport Town. How do you think they will go .... they should be favs for promotion?

So have they released the changes to the divisions based on the withdrawals? What changes to div 2?

Yes thanks! Surprised you guys were not bumped to div. 2, how are you fixed this year? We'll miss the trip to your place.

Due to the late withdrawals of Ballina Town 'B' and Kiltimagh/Knock Utd. 'B' the Mayo League has decided to cancel all League Three fixtures for this weekend. Due to those two withdrawals the division is now comprised of 8 teams where there will be 14 rounds of league matches.

We will request the F.A.I. on Monday next to re-draw this division and commence with round 1 on the weekend of 16th/17th April. As soon as we receive the revised fixtures they will be circulated to all Clubs.

We will also have to amend the Fixtures Diary to cater for the changes in this division, when this is complete it will be sent out.

The following matches in League Three are cancelled this weekend: Ballina Town 'B' v Newport Town, Ballyheane 'B' v Swinford 'B', Clew Bay Utd 'B' v Kiltimagh/Knock Utd. 'B', Conn Rangers 'B' v Hollister, Crossmolina 'B' v Fahy Rovers 'B'

On behalf of the League Management Committee I wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused but it was completely out of our control.

In fairness its not the first time Ballina have done this. Very Disapointing!

I wouldn't know how to compare with others in league, we only played one friendly with Manulla B and drew. Most them under 16's haven't been training with us but they might be now cause they were only knocked out last weekend against Cobh. I do know that their better players have another year under 16 so won't be playing!

Swinford B, Hollister, Newport Town and Ballyheane B all had good wins yestarday - Looks like a split in the division already with Crossmolina B joining the above mention teams.
