Driving to the game on Sat. I didn't hold much optimism for a result. When I got to the ground and saw Alan Barry on crutches no sign of Ollie Keogh / Jon Mernagh I thought a hiding was on the way.Ok so we rode our luck in the 1st half, but at half time I thought, maybe just maybe todays the day we open our account at home. Then in 2mins mid way in the 2nd half everything goes pear-shaped again.I just think we are poisoned with bad luck
Rossi hits the underside of the crossbar only for County to clear.Story of our season really.Ref was a joke had no control, and deserved the barracking he got at the end.We need all our players back asap if we are ever going to win at home this season.
Any news on new signings coming in, Timmy Lynch(Kerry League) / Keith Hartnett (Desmond League) were mentioned, does anyone know of anymore.

I must admit I have not heard of Timmy Lynch. Anybody know anything about him?
Timmy is a fine player plays with Park FC in Tralee and up to last year with the Kerry U21 side. Was Shane Guthrie's Partner (Now Cork City) in a defence that got to the playoffs 2 years running. He is a no nonsense type of defender. Does the simple things well, which is badly needed if you consider how many stupid goals we have gifted teams this year. Alongside Paul he will hopefully play and shore up the defence.
Heres hoping.
BTW Will someone at the club plaese change the kick off times from 630 on Sat it is not working crowd wise. What is wrong with Friday eve football?

i was going to post on that topic. playing the game last saturday at more or less the same time as the Ireland international was not a clever move. I know your opptions are limited by the lack of floodlights but (as with the 6.30 ko on a monday for the LC game) there doesn't seem to be much forethought.Originally Posted by JohnD

Thanks for the info on Timmy.Originally Posted by JohnD
I was hoping he was a midfielder, that seems to be our main weakness this season, although I believe Keith Harnett is a midfielder? not really sure though.
Keith's an attacking midfielder, scored 30 goals or so last season from that position, good link between midfield and strikers, will probably need a couple of games to get up to speed though as Conway needed when he joined. Will be a good addition to the squad but will need games to adjust.Originally Posted by blue4u
