    Ticket prices/promotions

Just wondering clubs have thought about the whole economy (not to mention the rubbish attendances anyway) and are they introducing any measures to help get crowds in.

Pats have dropped stand price to €15 (which is a big drop from €20) and have added the Setanta Cup games to th season ticket (we also got the Chelseas friendly added too). But the interesting one for me, is that for the month of March, all kids tickets are to be 80c (to help "celebrate 80 years")

I wonder will we see the return of concessions for "unwaged" as it used to be called.

Wexford kept season ticket prices the same €150 and €70 for students etc

Think match day entry is staying the same adults €10 Students etc €5 Children under 12 - free

To be honest hope other clubs follow suit and drop prices a little IMO €15 is to much for a first division match espically if premier division clubs are charging that as well.

I don't know why more clubs (i.e. all of them!) don't allow kids in for free. It brings up the attendances, under 12s will usually be accompanied by a paying adult anyway, and they clearly aren't going to stay under 12 for ever, if they get into the habit of going to LOI games young, the chances are they'll keep going later on.

    Well done Wexford!

We always let u12's in free until people started using Terryland as a babysitting service and we had kids not intersted in the game running amok.

Any children goes free should be with an accompanied adult. Never underestimate how quickly some parents will dump their kids, and responsibility, on someone else given the opportunity.

We re-introduced kids ticket prices to give value to the free tickets we give out in schools and the season ticket we give our mini leagues.

This year our season ticket is €140 with a family season ticket for 2 adults and up to 4 children under 16 costing €180. Great value and been some good interest in them.

Also when evenings get brighter we will be offering free coaching to kids under 11 for some time during the games so parents can relax and enjoy the game and the kids who would normally be running about or messing with a football get to channel their energy.

I realise this happens but we a bit far out of town for a babysitting service I think more what we get is parents taking turns in bringing 3-4 friends to the game

I agree with that Y4E but you have to admit that quite often the parent will sit in the stand while the kids run around to their hearts content. I know kids are the future of a new club like ours but it is starting to bug me a bit

We were giving away one Free U16 season Ticket with every Adult Ticket purchased, dono if the offer is still going.

I do agree with that but you are never really going to get kids to sit down for a full 90 mins but also think that more could be done to get them to be running around a bit less

How do you prove you're unwaged out of curiosity?.
