    Up to second.............

Handy three points against the worst Galway team ever seen in Premier. Again, top notch performances from Davoren, Green and Russell and, of course, The Maestro came on for a short lip smacking cameo at the end. Worrying was the poor display of Richie but this is probably just temporary but the elephant in the room is Blinky's game which, at the moment is not up to what we need or expect from a line leader in this team. Raf out for three weeks, we hear but Joseph's return a huge bonus. 1800 in Terryland - we provided 4 or 5 hundred of them.

Good summary....but I wouldn't worry too much about Richie....I think you are judging him on the high standard he has set, he had a decent first half but there were a few stray passes in the second, but nothing to worry about.......Blinky on the other hand....WE NEED A GOAL POACHER

Hope Cook is prepared to put his career before Blinkhorn's. A bit like Ventre-syndrome -- simply not good enough but in the last man's case was given place over O'Grady and to cap off the big lie, captaincy in Final

This season with Peers, Keane and Davoren at the back and wings, they are a huge platform. Would love to see Foran getting more play. Hopefully Ritchie and N'Do will come good. With Russell and Greene and Dillon we have hardworking and skilful going forward.

But Doyle and Blinks are not producing the goods and haven't for two seasons arguably.
If we want to push Shamrock Roves all the way, we must get goals. Without a signing and currently with a small squad, until Cretaro or young McGoldrick get firing -- looks like we will not score too often. Looks like Dillon is going to be our top scorer as matters stand!

blinks is quality, has everything apart from adding a few goals. dont make him into this seasons scapegoat like rovers fans do every year, pick on player to get on their backs all year

Sorry, Colin, but I recognise that no one put in better shifts last season than Blinks, if you were in Galway Friday night you must have seen that, at the moment, Blinks has nothing. i never expect too many goals from him but his line leading on Friday was abysmal and there's no point in saying otherwise. Eoin Doyle is a better option at this time.
