Why do shams fans come across as really bitter and complete zoomers on this site? when you meet them in the real world most seem fine
Misfits
You know quite well what I'm implying, nothing to do with 'anything to do with Rovers'. Just because you stood by denying anything was wrong in Pigsboro and let your club get into the state it is you'll try to have a pop at Rovers even when you shouldn't really make a comment. This season's gonna be pure gold.
False hope is worse than no hope. Ask Sligo.
As I say this season's gonna be pure Gold
False hope is worse than no hope. Ask Sligo.
And surprise surprise a bitter steps in.
False hope is worse than no hope. Ask Sligo.

So, Loopy by your "logic" (in the very broadest sense of the word) nobody from - deep breath - Bohs, Fingal, Cork, Shels, Drogs, Cobh, shams pre 05, etc should make a comment because they "let their club get into the state it is". Wow, arn't you financially puritanical shams (post 05 of course) and assorted few others going to get a bit lonely on here ?
Suggest that the site administrators introduce an IQ test when people are registering on foot.ie
A requirement for a 65+ score should clean up this site greatly
IQ test? watz dat
He's right when he compliments Pats fans anyway...

There's an overbearing air of gloom around the club at the moment based on early performances. Hopefully we'll pick up after that win, but we've been terrible so far. There was a massive collective sigh of relief when we finally scored 257 minutes into our season. Our prospects haven't looked good, but I'd be hopeful that that win could push us on (cue disaster in Tralee tonight and Drom on Saturday!!).
Fair play to the gang of ye that travelled. Not sure about your assessment of the game though. It was brutal! Of the few chances sprinkled intermittently through the match, we had the best half dozen I would have thought. Early Sinnott one-on-one, Browne header off the line, Murray header tipped over, Sinnott shot well-saved, Long missed sitter and the goal itself. McHugh hit one shot straight to the keeper in the first half when he should have done better and ballooned another over the bar. As bad as we were, I think we just about deserved to get over the finishing line with three points. I'm not having a cut at Harps - I'd love both teams to go up - but neither looked like promotion contenders on Friday.
