WHATEVER Anthony Buckley said to referee Jim O’ Neill at the end of last month’s eircom Premier Division fixture against Bray at Turner’s Cross has earned him a two match ban.

Buckley was sent-off for remonstrating with the Waterford official at the end of the game after Bray netted a highly controversial late equaliser.

The Cork players claimed Bray striker Paul Keegan was in an offside position when he netted the visitors’ late leveller. Buckley’s ban will start from Wednesday, November 21.
