It wasn't meant to be pedantic. Part of the issue is the perception of NI born players being "poached" by the FAI which is incorrect. Players chose to represent the FAI of their own accord.
I don't have any issues with either EalingGreen or Gatherround (Not Brazil and awec for that matter as well) posting their opinions although I would generally struggle to read the entirety of EG's posts.

Don't invest too much faith in Worthington or the IFA. It's entirely likely that Ferguson has told Nigel his intent, and that Nigel doesn't like what he hears. He could be calling Ferguson to try to persuade him against switching. I can think of a few who have had similar treatment.In fairness I can sympathise.
