    Dundalk 0 Bohs 0 FT

sounded like a superb game and we played well though were hanging on at the end. Thanks to Dundalk and the two lads who do the radio commentary. Its a great service and they are very entertaining.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

can anyone confirm the scores in Tallaght and in Derry?

ET has them down as 2-0 and 2-2 respectively but according to what i can see it should be 1-0 and 2-1.

Yes, it was a good game for a nil all.

Both sides tried to play football and both had good chances. Bohs have put together a very decent side in the circumstances.

Refereeing was awful though. Both sides were scratching their heads at decsions both for and against them. Dundalk were particularly aggrieved that a penalty wasn't awarded to Kearns. However, I'll wait for the TV footage as my view wasn't great.

Really enjoyable game in Terryland; keep an eye out on Ger Barron's saves on MNS - really world class. We've still no real cutting edge up front, and missing a penalty was the icing on the cake in that regard.

Yael Haro on left wing though - one of the greatest performances in a UCD jersey ever! Even if that's partly due to the unexpected nature of it.

Also, were there a lot of penalties tonight? Was keeping an eye on the twitter, and it seemed that within a minute or so, we missed, Rovers missed, Harps scored and Wexford scored? Our one right at the start of the second half; the other three right at the end of the first halves.

Ah, God bless ya. Good point for Bray tonight in the Carlisle. Didn't offer much going forward but dealt with Sligo's attacks handily enough. Both sides hit the woodwork.
Bray Wanderers: So good they were relegated twice (and still stayed up).

I'm glad you enjoyed them, I notice a lot of people in the main stand in oriel now listen in during the game for their analysis, i think the boys can be very fair on the opposition, and I did hear they mentioned Bohs were well worth their draw, which would be correct, it was a decent game, especially the second half.

With 3 of our first choice m/f out in Gaynor, Bennett and Bolger, it was always obvious we would struggle in the middle, and we did. At least we tightened up our defence, so I`m happy enough with the point, we lost zero ground with the other results.

Bohs are going to be a fairly dogged side this year, they were well organised and didn't give much away.

#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).

Its difficult to get the head around the fact that Hancock booked 8 players tonight in what was not a dirty game. The penalty that he missed was fairly straightforward although Kearns would have helped his case better if he had not tried to stay on his feet.

Bohs were good value for the draw and in truth the game could have gone either way. Bohs are well capable of doing well against any team on their day, but whether the younger players in the team can deliver consistently remains to be seen,

A fairly enjoyable game, even if the result was a disappointment

    Good result for you.

Cork were easily the better team in the first half, bossed midfield, but apart from the goal, didn't really creat many chances. Limerick did nothing. At all. Second half, we had more territory, and for the last 15 minutes, we had you pressed right back, but all we did was thump one long ball after another up in the air, and created nothing (maybe a half chance for Judge with a header). I was surprised that we were able to press you so easily, but with our team being totally devoid of creativity, maybe you felt comfortable just defending deep.

Not good omens at all for Limerick after such a good pre-season, and I'm not sure that Cork will be able to maintain a challenge to Shels either.

Important 3 points for us after a poor result last week. Not sure how good the performance was but I'll take the result anyway.
We did good compared to last week anyway .
Only problem with us at the moment is our failure to kill off games .
