    Mervue

Didn't make it myself but I believe there was a freak goal for either side. I won't comment on the match as I haven't seen it but three wins in a row is great form. I can't remember when we last did that, regardless of opposition.

It was tough conditions out there tonight. Mervue's goal came from bad clearance from Conlon went straight to Tierney off the corner of the box. He hit a great strike over Conlon which came back off the crossbar. But linesman who was on the 18 yard line gave a goal!! Our first goal came from a corner from Jacques Morley and was headed in by Browne from Mervue. Second goal was a complete freak!! Deans hit a long ball from well inside his own half for Cowan (I think) to run on to but hit it too long, Mervue keeper let the ball bounce and it hit a hard patch on the pitch and it flew up over him and into the net. We were better team overall but found it hard to break down Mervue. I'll take the 3 points though.....last season we probably would of been lucky to get a draw so things are looking up.

That is what attending live football is all about....fantastic entertainment. Cant believe lino gave that goal the ball barley touched the line if at all. Conlon was at fault but he made 2 tidy saves late on which were crucial so no damage done, was Alvin Rouse injured or what?

Thank God for the rain if the pitch wasnt so wet I dont think that ball would have slid in over Hanley great result!

Just wondering dose anybody know when we actually won 3 games in a row last?

2007 season I'd say? We went on a bit of a run at one stage that year.

great result, wasnt a great performance but we stuck with it and showed great character to come from behind. Its a good sign that despite not playin well we're picking up the points and thats credit to the squad we've assemble.
Conlon very poor again, if Rouse is missing I hope Hunt gets a run out. Cowan was very good again, however in the second half we needed a plan b, too often he was our only target. Thought lee roache did well when he came on, aiden has had better games and missed a very good one on one chance.

Still delighted with the win, and if we can get a result in Limerick, we would be in very good fettle moving on

I thought Aidan Roach looked dangerous when he came on and as Cabs88 said he should have done better when 1 on 1
