town thoroughly deserved to win last nite. Jacques Morley scored after Cathal Brady did brilliantly to keep the ball in play skinned the defender and hit the ball across to morley who couldnt miss. Don Cowan was a screamer from twenty to thirty yards out packie holden had no chance with it. it was easily a goal of the season contender for us.
those to play well for us were Cathal Brady( MOM imo) Des Hope and Jacques Morley.Des Hope was calmness personified in defence. Dont get me wrong youths had a few chances but the passing and pace of the attacks was a joy to watch..
it certainly made the long journey home quicker for us!! also strangely enough we played in the yellow away kit from last season and I have heard that we are not going ahead with the blue away kit. did anyone else hear this??
