Welcome back!
Agree about CP and Alan. Alan Paul and James have at least tried this year.
We are ****e at the moment and the Sligo game has to have been one of the worst ever seen in Pike.

Finally managed to get back in the site so ive a few things to get off my chest. Ive only managed to get to home games this year so forgive any ignorance on my partFirstly Consolation Prize O'Brien is an absolute joke. Stephen O'Flynn he aint. Granted Hes scored a few tap ins and clearly has ability but his attitudes a disgrace without doubt the laziest most selfish player to wear the jersey in some time. Ive seen far better than him wear the blue and white so i dunno where the arrogance comes from.Secondly i disagree with the sentiment that Alan Barry isnt good enough for the eircom league. The man covers every blade of grass and if more of the team showed his effort and commitment wed be a lot further up the table. It pains me to think of the partnership he could have forged with Stevo or Derek feeding off him rather than being lumbered with some lazy Cork city reject as a striking "partner". Thirdly can someone please explain the enigma that is John Healy? A fine shot stopper but the man is dodgier with crosses than count Dracula. Finally the midfield looks an absolute mess at the mo and it pains me to say but it seems Limerick are drifting towards playing the puke football favoured by so many clubs in this division ie big centre half hoofs ball towards big centre forward/little winger and hopes for best.. Now that ive sufficiently bored/probably offended everyone id just like to say its good to be back

Thanks think John Whyte can be added to that list aswell although i think our cause could be better served by him playing in the middle of the park and mick aherne being pushed into the centre of defence with conor molan being dropped back to left back because lets face it the man makes no sense on the left side of midfield and with all due respect mike kerley coming in at centre half wont solve any problemsSo John do u still stand by your prediction for Limerick to sneak 3rd?

Ah Yes MY Prediction![]()
How about 3rd last!!! although things will improve when some new signings arrive

Dont agree at all in regards John White. I think he has had an outstanding season beside Finny. I think that his improved performance this year has an awful lot to do with the change. A mid-field position would find him caught for pace, much like last year. I dont think I can disagree with the list given by John - all those players have been outstanding this year.

Point taken and John has been excellent this season but i really think we need something in the middle of the park anyone have any ideas....? Met Anthony Tobin in the pub recently an apparently hes a free agent![]()
rather sign dopey from the 7 dwarfs than Bubbles.....the only difference between them is that Bubbles is taller...![]()
Absolutely right about the mid-field. If we can get Hughes back from Galway I think it could make a big difference.

Is there a chance he might be comin back? That would be great stuff if we could get midfield sorted think u would see a different Limerick fc the defence is relatively solid and with a bit of fight about the midfield and cp with the grace of god sent back to where he came from we might start playing as a team and creating a few chances
