It was truely unacceptable apologies. Ive become emotionally deranged with this paronoid fear of losing Grealish to the Brits it dominates my life. The last time i suffered such turmoil was when i feared bernie Slaven would be poached at the last moment by those scheming scots! I promise I wont post sober again. promise.

At least obvious evidence that it had the desired penitent effect.

As expected. We were lucky enough to get a table in that devilishly talented and creative Patrick Guilbaud establishment. As i admired his 2 Michelins stars ((patricks not Pauls) and awaited my ceviche of scallops Paul had a massive row with Patrick accusing him of been a big time charlie with an inability to suppress his natural creative genius for having the temerity to accompany pauls Red King crab with a Wasabi creme freche. We were man handled out the back with our table taken by a rather non imposing softly spoken northern gentleman and his rather stoic English companion who seemed to be lurking outside waiting to sample some worldclass creations. We ended up with a bag of chips in Burdocks which Paul commended on their consistency and agreed that paul had shafted McEleney(Patrick not shane) cause those northerners are "too cute by half"

You were smart to take him to Guillbauld's - shows how seriously you were taking your contrition. Pity about the crab but full marks for rescuing the situation with a bag of Burdocks. 8/10 Liamo.

Will Grealish break James McCarthy's record of thread pages length before his competitive debut?

have to say, I admire the honesty of his opinion on loan players, and references to previous loanees
All goals, yellow and red cards tweeted in real time on mastodon, BlueSky and facebook

Honest indeed but it ignores the fact that he's only 18! He's learning the ropes at Notts Co.

    Grealish silences his critics...

Celtic loanee McGregor slammed Notts ahead again, then cleared an Adebayo Akinfenwa header off the line before Jack Grealish rifled home a third.
The Aston Villa loanee's wonderful solo effort, beating three Gills defenders on the way to his powerful finish into the roof of the net, was his first Football League goal.

Over the moon, so happy. One of the best goals I've ever scored aswell which makes it better and celebrated it with my dad in the crowd❤

That was a fabulous goal from start to finish, he's selling more dummys than Mothercare
Maybe a turning pointy in Countoes season.
I think you can here as fan say "that is class", have to agree.

Interesting. But for every loan player that does well and goes on to better things there are plenty that are awful and do the same.

Free-scoring Championship and Irish eligible striker Lukas Juktwiecz was utterly brutal on loan at Huddersfield from Everton, for instance. There's a ton of examples!

Man Utd's Danny Drinkwater was wonderful at Huddersfield but he's an average Championship player now after leaving United.

Drinkwater? that's one weird surname. Just how did that one stick?

I actually looked this up before. The most likely explanation is that in medieval times (and even up until relatively recently), the general quality of water was so low that most people had to drink weak ale instead, which having been brewed was likely to be safe to drink. As a result, a person who drank water would be considered high status and it was certainly unusual enough for it to become a familiar name.
