I would argue for a call up against Kaz in that the english FA are still hinting at wanting to get him back. Would be no harm to give him some experience of what it's like to be with the senior squad and cap him for the last 5 minutes of the game. I don't think that would hurt his development at all and would secure him as well.

He can grace the senior team when he's ready and good enough. If he's committed, he'll be committed. I find something a bit desperate and unprofessional with dangling carrots and token caps. Who's supposed to be exercising control?

2-0 down when he came on ended 3-1, so a 1-1 draw for the time he was on which sounds good for him.

His younger brother looks a prospect too, maybe we could get him capped in the remaining qualifiers too?

Looks like he could do a job at centre back making headed clearances.

Presumably this is the brother who posts on YBIG who some here have been laying into

Sounds like good stuff there - hopefully he will keep it going and it's great he is getting 1st team experience as its a step up in intensity and physicality from reserve or u19 football.

In the star today. Enjoying his time with Ireland and hoping longterm for a call up for England. Dosent go into why doolin fell out with him and is not picking him for the 19s. He could I think be capped by england this season at under 19s as he was not picked for our 19s even though he has played for the 21s. Class footballer

This is him from an interview given early sept/late august -

"“I made up my mind a few months ago that Ireland was the best for me and I’m happy with the decision.

“It was disappointing not to play any of those Under-19 qualifiers last season in Luxembourg but it’s a team game and the main thing is the lads got through to the next round.

“I didn’t know what was going to happen after that but I thought about it and didn’t want to switch.

“My Under-21 debut in the Faroes was the first time in over a year that pulled on that green jersey. That made me feel very proud.”

Sorry obviously meant Ireland. Would be a bit more of a standout story if he was leaving the fold. This thread has been dominated by the idea of him switching its obviously affecting my typing ability!
