thischarmingman shows the benefits of a proper classical education.
Partly because I can't believe someone not only took on mypost over one of the most ludicrous posts I've ever read on the forum, but actually rebutted it in full detail.
But mainly because the last line made me laugh out loud.

I think I'm at that giddy stage after a joke when any reference to it will threaten to set me off again:
PartySaint
I can't work out if 'space cadet of the highest order,' "bleeding hippy," or "novelty obsessed barstooler is my favourite abuse so far this year.
Funny and true - Can't resist a meta-nomination for John83's exposure of thischarmingman and stu's comedy bromance...
Ou-est le Centre George Pompidou?

Wolfie's comments on Obama's possible itinerary made me laugh out loud.

Very clever from The Fly.
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.
How on earth do you do that?! And why is it always the junior league posters doing stuff like that (and clicking on "Report post" instead of "Reply", leading to fun times in the mod forum)?
Anyways, PartySaint gets his vote split.
That's by a million miles the funniest thing I've ever read on this site. I roared out laghing reading his first post then composed myself, scrolled down and read the second one and nearly fell off the chair. That's the first time I've ever cried reading foot.ie. I'm in a bad way here. Definitely voting for that.
Culmination of a good week in the Ireland forum. Post by Geysir.

Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
Surprised Sam Heggy hasn't been nominated for this yet.
