Its reported that Dundalk's season ticket sales are well ahead of last seasons mark.

More than likely to do with the quality of player signed and also the timing of the signings. i.e we had only 2 signed before Christmas last year(the peak time for ST sales) wheras we had about 11 signed at the same time this season.
    ST prices for us http://www.dundalkfc.com/seasontickets2011.asp

No matter how impressive that looks, its not really, and that goes for all clubs.

Season tickets and attendances are related really and both are crap in the LOI unfortunately.
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!

That's blantantly not true. You're deluded if you think that that's not impressive. Things being bad in the LOI in general has nothing to do with how impressive that fugure is/isn't. That's more or less higher than every other club's average gate.

In fairness, its very impressive in any LOI based approach you take. Less impressive than Barca or Real id venture but really, theyre not what we should be comparing ourselves to?

Imagine how much better the league would be if every club attracted 3000-5000 each week.

    The Model Club

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

Sligo's cup win obviously wasn't very impressive either. Football quality is also crap in the LOI unfortunately.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

In general I agree that arguing over crowds is pathetic.

Not as pathetic as refusing to acknowledging a terrific amount of season tickets sold mind...
    54,321 sold - wws will never die - ***

our tickets were decent value to begin with - now you save €1 if you buy the season ticket as opposed to buying a ticket for every game
