Nothing exactly special about what you're doing is there?

So, I'll ask again. What is the timeframe for the new stadium?

Just to clarify it lads, Limerick FC weren't given an extension on the deadline because they couldn't meet the deadline like the earlier statement might lead people to believe. The granting of the license has been extended through no fault of Limericks as they have been in a position since Monday to sort it out.

    Statement from Limerick: http://limerickfc.ie/Home/news/110217licence.html

Yea I do. Still nothing special about it.

I love they way "Mr O'Sullivan" can say he is trying to get it and you get a licence.

I doubt comments from Pat saying 'he is trying to get' the Market's Field have any bearing on whether we meet the licencing criteria.

I'd say they do actually. I think we fail to meet the ground requirements but get away with it because of the new stadium project. Drogheda previously had the same with theirs. I'd imagine that as Jackman also misses the standards that there has to be some sort of plan in place to get up to the mark.

Who knows what to make of licensing at this stage though?

But this is kind of my point - I don't think Limerick saying 'we're trying to buy it' will have much influence.

Now, 'concrete plans'.......in that case, we'd have to have already bought the Market's Field??!!

    Woohoo!!

I hope the potential move to the Market's Field develops and gets approved soon. It'll be a great move for the club.

Give me some examples then ?

Highly doubt that would get us a licence but you were asking for a timescale and the only information available is what Pat had said and that is all he has said if he had ever mentioned a timescale i would have told you that.

Going by the Limerick website, it'll be good news tomorrow.
If there is a redraft, I hope Limerick keep the Waterford and Shel's fixtures for April. They'll be the first two decent games to go to.

i would love to know what that settlement consists of.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
