Came on in the 65th minute and conceded a penalty two minutes later. Leeds held out for a 3-2 victory however. O'Kane was quite impressive by the sound of things.

Shaughnessy done well for the remainder of the game. He's still eligible for the U21s.

Had thought he was a midfielder for some reason. LiveScore have him at centre half.

Shaughnessy was one of only a few bright spots in a Leeds side that really haven't settled or found their feet yet. Big opportunity for him to embed himself. He's doing himself no harm whatsoever thus far. Good on him.

Now to get LUTV and British TV elsewhere thereafter to stop calling him 'Shaw-nessy'. He's our new Key-oh.

I was introduced to FlashScore yesterday. It's even better than LiveScore for detail.

He certainly was a midfielder underage for us. Seems the switch to centre half may have only come with new manager this summer. Great to see

    He's a big lad.

Looks like he did quite well in the match anyway: Leeds boss praises Irish youngster after first Championship start despite unfortunate leg break http://the42.ie/3548686

Needless to highlight the leg break from his first tackle. It was a fair and good tackle.

Lovely. A lovely contrast to how we sometimes go back to front.

He's getting games in the absence of one of Leeds established first choice partnership (Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper) during a really successful season (so far) for them. It's a quite decent environment for him to be gaining first team exposure. He's doing great so far and hopefully this season is a platform for a great career.

That was savage. Shades of Kaka's pass for Crespo in 05... slight exaggeration maybe but brilliant nonetheless.

Mick needs glen whelan in that team doing all that unseen work he would have cut that space out with one slow side ways shuffle(unseen by all except the real football folk)

Football can be such a simple beautiful game when you see a pass like that .

Its the Glenn Whelans of this world that ruin football by cutting out such pass’s .

Defensive midfielders like whelan should be staked to the ground with a 8 /10 meter chain so that he could not cut out such a work of art .

some might say that 10 metre chain is 5 metres longer than glens usual one!
