ltfc match programs wanted

well guys,

one of the derry city lads was onto me just now. He is looking for spare programs of our game against Derry City in the premier division years:

the following are what he wants:

Longford Town v Derry City � League Game on 8th September 2001

Longford Town v Derry City � League Game on 4th September 2004

my contact has told me that he will pay a very good price for them as he is only ten games offcompleting his derry city collection since 1985. anyone interested please send me a pm.

Also I am looking to upgrade my program collection -anyone that has ltfc match programs home or away that they want to give away or any spares give me a shout as I may take them off you if they are not in my collection. also send me a pm if interested.

Had a look! Dont think i have either! Have april 04 however and oct and feb 02, june 03 and 05, april 06 and may 07 if any of them are required!

awwhhhh farrell thanks for that! when you get a chance can you send me a pm with the list of programs that you have when you get the chance and I can mark them off against my list!Anything thats not on my list I will be very much interested. I have nearly 500 programs collected at this stage.. its easier that way as I dont have a direct list of programs that I am missing just programs that I have!

Database - then you could sort by season, club, missing or not.

Haha i reckon that would take a while! Have some back to 01/02 didnt get as many last seasom however!

I am gradually going through my program list and is drafting a list of the programs that I am missing . From 2000-01 it will get easier as I had more match programs than missing so the list will be small. I will send you a pm of the missing programs pretty soon so please bear with me!

I was at that Galway league cup game in '08 but I'm not sure there was a programme, there were feck all at the game either way so it can't have been worth their while to do one if there was.

Just on these Marty I think you have some dates wrong

2000/01.

2006
w.e 21.11.06 ltfc v st pats league

I have the FAI Cup game as the 23rd March 2001. The front cover of the programme actually says 6th February though as it was postponed that date
The League game that season was played 6th April. I’ll check to see if I have spares of these later. If I don’t do you want scans of the covers?

There was no programme produced by Longford of our game on 17th November 2006. It was the last league game of the season

I’m actually missing one Longford/pats programme from the 2000/01 season too. Would you (or anyone else) have a copy they’d be willing to part with for the game played on the 9th December 2000 in Longford?

those dates when I was compliling all of the match reports are the following wednesday after each match was played ie when the longford news and leader came out.. I just couldnt be bothered be changing the dates that was all.. Its confusing I know but there was a reason for that! I had a feeling there wasnt a program issued in 17.11.06 but had to make sure.
yeah please dodge if you can scan those covers it will be great if you dont have spares to get. I dont have any spare copies of the town pats program in dec 2000 but I can ask around at the next program fair that I will be goin to in May.
