Looks like we'll have to wait another day. Decision on Limerick to be made today but the FAI said no announcement till tomorrow for whatever reason.
so we have another day of waiting re:fixtures too?
The season starts on Friday week ffs.
You sound annoyed and shocked Sammy boy.
I've given up on planning for the season. Just gonna show up randomly places and cheer whatever team I feel like. So disillusioned that all the good is gone from loi for me.
They should keep the first week of fixtures as they are and make any changes for later in the season.

A Championship: 4 years - 8 first teams - 0 financially ruined. First Division '14: 7 first teams.
Opportunity lost for new clubs/regions to join the LoI family.
G.u.b.u.
Galway up's a balls-up?
We know that.
I think the FAI has been taken over by Vince Mcmahon, One team is on the pitch waiting to see who they are playing then the lights go out the music starts and Sean Conor just runs in and hits everyone with a stone cold stunner before downing 6 beers and getting the hell out of there
Here on a technicality.

So clubs surviving is a cause for you to become disillusioned? How bizarre...
The bye week for First division clubs is the problem. WHole fixture list needs re-arranging.
Unless Limerick don't get the lilcense, in which case; probelm solved.

No dodge it was the handling of the situation and the fact that some clubs can have rules bent for them while others are expected to ensure they use the right brand if milk in the refs tea or get punished.

Ok, Galway: two new pieces of evidence provided at appeal despite rules clearly stating no new evidence is allowed.
Drogheda: premier licence granted for a stadium that doesn't meet criteria for years now.
Bray: stadium that is clearly in breach of health and safety for 2 years is passed yet again with out conditional licence but they are given time to knock walls and put in new fencing to comply.
Bohs: not able to pay players....again.
I agree, it's all the public services fault that Galway left it until the very last days possible to come to an agreement with Revenue, over the debt they has built up over the year since the last cert, in order to get new tax clearance. There's no finer example of why benchmarking was wrong - GUFC are the perfect example from the private sector on how to do things properly. Could the revenue not have sent it out on a DVD FFS!
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.
They didn't provide new evidence. They asked that the confirmation they had in place adn the fact it was the FAI's fault be taken into consideration. Fine with me
They installed about 1,500 seats last year so the 'for years now' comment is redundant. United park is fineDrogheda: premier licence granted for a stadium that doesn't meet criteria for years now.
Ah would you stop?Bray: stadium that is clearly in breach of health and safety for 2 years is passed yet again with out conditional licence but they are given time to knock walls and put in new fencing to comply.
Where does licensing deal with this?Bohs: not able to pay players....again.

I know the seated part of United Park was sorted but, was there not something about the dimensions of the pitch and the wall around the pitch?
Only curious here btw.
.......Hello, is that Joe Duffy ? it is, well Joe... imagine, Revenue in Galway do not have the resources to immediately issue a certificate of clearance to GUFC and as for those wasters in the Dept of Sport, culture and other stuff we pretend to care about (to give it its official title) - cant drop everything and facilitate Bohs latest loan scheme (this is the final one, honest.). What public service I ask ?
I blame it all on Bertie..... and the unions.....and..and..it would be different in the private sector
