Was it not to advise Monaghan to prepare for the Premier? Subtle distinction.

Sorry if Galway didn't have the documentation in on time then tough, they shouldn't have got their licence. In Northern Ireland Portadown were relegated to the First Division because there were traffic delays on the motorway and they didn't get their application for Premier Division membership in until 10 minutes after the time that they should have had their application in for.
Somewhat different situation with Galway though as their "shortfall" in the documentation was outside their control. 'Twas the fault of our outdated red tape in the Revenue Commissioners where, when someone was out sick, no one else could sign a piece of paper. Thought such outdated practice had disappeared years ago.![]()
Ask not what your club can do for you but what YOU can do for your club.
So after 378 matches in the regular season, 8 play-off games and three months of off-field wranglings, the only change is Derry up and Fingal out? Which is ironic as last year, Fingal went up and Derry went out. Gotta love this league.
Ah well that was a fun few days laughing at Galway anyway
Back into football exile I go to wonder why I ever give a flying fig about anything the FAI have their hands on
An 11 team First Division is simply unacceptable and the FAI really have to reconsider their position if they can't even fill the league positions or arrange it as such that the league is ready to begin 2 weeks before the league. ****ing ***** the lot of them.

I'm really disappointed Cobh didn't come back up. What was the point in them playing Salthill in the play-off? Even if they'd won, they wouldn't have been promoted. How far off a licence are they? Should the FAI be helping them to get one and be the twelfth team? It's for everyone's benefit that they get a licence.
If they can find a way to make Drogheda eligible for a Premier Division licence, I'm sure they could have given a First Division one to Cobh. Jokeshop of an organisation.
Lets redefine what it means to heal
In another thread you were saying fairplay to the FAI for enforcing a bit of law and order around the place, now you want them to fudge a twelfth team into the First Division.![]()
That reminds me of how Bohs threw away a League on the last day of the season because their bus broke down on the way to Oriel Park. All they had to do was take a point from Dundalk but they arrived late for the game and were unsettled by that and lost.
