    are friday games the future

i see from the club web site that we have asked the league to change our shels game to fri june 11 from sat june 12 th, the game is at 8 pm...

is this a way of generating a bigger crowd with the championship on the way ???
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........

Maybe Friday nite is the best nite-less chance of competition from other sports!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

makes it very hard to get to the game on time if you have to travel.

With an 8 o'clock kick off on Friday you'd still have a decent shout of being home for it..Think the club are going to see how these next couple of matches go crowd wise and then look at it again.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

Number of clashes that weekend, I believe. GAA qualifiers and Euro 2004 kick-off.

I was strongly against it before, however given recent attendances I think it's worth a shot. We've had poor enough crowds recently, and that's before the bog ball starts. Once it's an 8pm kick off, I think it's fair enough. 3 Hours is enough time to drive down even on a Friday, and enough time to get any of the trains down.

Finally, are the club listening to myself and Xlex? here
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.
