Pats announce Wednesday deadline
Premier Division crisis club St Patrick’s Athletic have set a Wednesday deadline for aspirant applicants for the vacant manager’s job, and there remains considerable uncertainty over the identity of the new man in charge of the struggling Inchicore outfit.
Martin Russell, who has been in joint charge with midfielder Paul Osam on a temporary basis since Collins’s resignation earlier this month, is widely believed to be the favourite to land the job on permanently.

St Patrick's Athletic are set to name their new manager to succeed Eamonn Collins who resigned as boss of the eircom League Premier Division club last month.
The Inchicore side will hold a pRess Conference at midday on Wednesday 26th May where club chairman Andy O'Callaghan will announce who will take over the reins at Richmond Park.
