I'm surprised to hear he wants to leave. Sunderland have been having a good season. He used twitter to good effect to the the move from Spurs. He has gotten the games he wanted with the Black Cats, the goals have come and he gotten his international chance as well.
Very strange one. He's been banging them in up there. I think Gyan coming along and doing so well may have ruffled his feathers. I can't see him getting any more exposure if he's at Villa and he could be looking for another move in a few months if they go down. I can't see his motivation in this one. He just wants to be centre of attention, imo.

Two weeks ago Sunderland beat Villa 1-0. Sunderland strengthened their position in 6th, a position finished in the last 3 seasons and they closed the gap to Chelsea in 5th to 2 points. The defeat sent Villa into the relegation zone. Now a fortnight later Villa have Sunderland's top-goalscorer. Madness. I hope Sunderland can get a signing to maintain their current position.
