    Ramblers make yet another point

    Ramblers make yet another point

    May 23, 2004

    Sligo Rovers 2-2 Cobh Ramblers
Draw specialists Cobh Ramblers took their fourth straight point of the season, but led for almost three-quarters of an hour before being pegged back by the hosts 20 minutes from the end.

Ciaran Foley gave Sligo an early lead, but Robert Brosnan, taking more responsibility in attack in the absence of regular strike partner , the suspended Kieran O’Reilly, responded with two goals before half-time.

Couldn't agree with you more Cookie. We were caught twice in a row at home in injury time. We need to start winning before we become detached from the League leaders.

ya its a joke! were practically throwning away 2 points every week!

we could be in the top 4 now if it wasn't for these displays.

If ye had a decent striker ye'd be in with a shout of promotion, but I've seen ye 4 times this season and the finishing is appalling.

The lads played very well in the first half but I think the Bus Journey caught up with them in the second half.

You cannot expect a team to travel for 6 hours and get off a bus and go out and win a match.

The 2 goalsfrom brosnan were outstanding.

We had 2 chances cleared off the line I think a point against Sligo was a great result awhat we need is to win our home matches.

    finishing is shocking

Ya our finishing is shocking hilly needs to sign a striker fast brosnan has done well up front but we cant keep depending on the same player all the time .
we allways play well but keep getting caught out towards the end of the second half . we need to start pushing up the table a win against athlone should do us tonite.
