Since 2005, each summer FIFPro organizes the FIFPro Tournament to help footballers without a contract find a new professional club. This year FIFPro organizes for the first time a FIFPro Winter Tournament with as participating countries Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Republic of Ireland. These teams will play each other on 14 January 2011 in Oslo, Norway. Clubs, scouts and technical directors are invited to see the participating players in action.

It sounds like a good idea. It'd be nice to see some Irish lads getting a go in the Scandinavian leagues. Don't the PFAI do something similar at home?

aaron shanahan was in that squad last year too. he got resigned by us after doing that training course but it definitely wont happen this time that we will resign him again after signing alvin rouse.
