I like that a lot. Oh please don't let this be "the 1" song from the album.

hope its more their first two albums than their lasttwo
I hope its a return to form. Their first album is excellent, AGDCFF was decent as well, didnt like the last two offerings much though. This is going to be The Streets last album so hope they go out with a bang.

It's very good, doesn't quite hit the heights of OPM, but glad to say he's back. Watch out for 'Blip On A Screen', great track.

Katy B's debut is coming out in April. I've like what I've heard of it so far. She's put two class singles out already.

Really hoping the Strokes return to form. They never really got consistently near the quality of the debut album since.

I like that new Strokes song - total Is This It? which makes me feel the album might be a bit straw clutching. But decent song nonetheless.

If no one has heard the new PJ Harvey album they should go do it soon as possible - it's just a little bit brilliant. Really enjoying the new Mogwai too, though I'm a big fan of pretty much everything they've done.

Not everyone's cup of tea but possibly a new Slipknot album in the works for 2011. Will be interesting to see what direction they take after the death of their drummer last year.

The new Strokes song took a while to sink in but I really like it. It is very Is This It? but I think it's different enough to sound fresh. Plus Is This It? is one of my favourite records.

The PJ Harvey album is immense. It's been panned by the press (which in PJ Harvey terms means it's gotten average reviews) but I think it's the best she's made in years.

I've pretty much hated everything PJ Harvey has ever done, but I did like the first single off the new album, so I may be prepared to give it a chance

    Maybe

Totally agree. Don't understand the criticisms at all - it's such an enveloping, interesting album but totally lovely album. She's struggled to walk the line between experimentation and total listenability in recent releases but she's bang on with this one. Hanging In The Wire, In The Dark Places and Words That Maketh The Murder are some of her finest songs yet.

And Happy Monday everybody - new Radiohead album this Saturday. Those jokers....I'm pretty excited, it'll be the first time in years I've heard a new Radiohead record without having checked out any live bootlegs of new material.

The Pretender is pretty good too but the accompanying album was total dreck. The scuzzier sound does remind me a little of their debut and the video does make me smile though.
