Only 964 here. Thought there was more.

Edit: Shels goal... 3-1 to the reds.

3-2 now. Baily scored a dodge enough goal. Major mix-up in our defence.

Yep, I make it between McCormack and the last successful penalty last season, that Kelly's today is the only success in 10 attempts with McCabe and Turner's misses.

Who was your keeper today?? He seemed decent enough. Did well with crosses and such like! Where's he from?

Clancy scores a sweet strike from in on the left.

great result for Shels. Gives me a warm feeling inside to see them mixing it with the big boys again. As for us, a reality check and a sign of the lack of depth in our squad. Not sure if i agree with it but, rightly or wrongly, the LC is clearly not a priority for us.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

That must be among the youngest team ever fielded by Dundalk in a competitive game. In the starting eleven the only players over 20 years old were Paul Murphy (26) and Simon Madden (22).

Shocking coverage of latest scores in national media. Sligo won 4-0 according to a poster on an english website - record crowd of 2,500 in Buncrana supposedly. Ndo among the scorers.

Nice crowd in Buncrana. More like 1,000 at the most.

Very good crowd in Buncrana for the match. Not sure if it was 2,500 now, but probably a Cockhill record.

Cockhill played rather defensively, as expected. Sligo weren't massively impressive now. Thought Cretaro was quite poor.
Match was 1-0 at half time. Must have been a few words said at half time. Sligo were certainly more active go the second half now.
Disappointed for Cockhill, but gave a good account of themselves.

On a related note, we weren't great today. But it'll do.

Yeah I just got the details third party from an English website - he did seem quite high with his crowd tbf! Even at c.1,000 it'll be handy enough gate receipts for them. Nice little ground?

Don't get too far ahead of yourselves, yous had 5 starters the same as your previous game, we only had 3.
Lets redefine what it means to heal

Good results for shels Mons and pats, but you have to ask how serious some teams take the competition?
