Reminds me of the time we played Fairview Rangers in the cup. We'd all been giving their keeper a fair bit of abuse on the basis of his less than wonderful looks so I was a little nervous when he made a beeline for me in the bar afterwards.
Instead of starting a row he shook hands and asked "Ugliest keeper in Ireland? I guess you've never seen Alan Gough."

Sheehan, Hynes, Coughlan and O'Flynn for Limerick.
Not sure where they're going to get them if they have no money, they hadn't one player togged out today that I'd take at Limerick and we're not exactly Real Madrid!!
Also (launches boulder from inside his own greenhouse) their ground is an absolute KIP. Twas kinda sad really last time I was in United Park the whole place was buzzing.

Jesus that's a lower mid table First Division squad. Think I'll back Drogheda's opponents with the handicap on a few occasions this season.
Yeah its Hanaphy who played for us.
When you have Dave Freeman up front you know you're in trouble
Here on a technicality.
That Drogheda side is absolutely shocking.

Karl Moore (ex-UCD), Shaun Kelly (ex-Dundalk), Sean Kelly (ex-Limerick) and Aaron Shanahan (ex-Longford) all played a part in our game in Wexford today.
Sean Connor hopes to have his squad completed by Tuesday, so I'd expect a lot of transfer news out our way in the next day or two
Shanahan's a decent enough keeper, very good shot stopper when he's on his game but he had some concentration issues last season which were costly. He was on trial at Monaghan for the last few weeks.
