Fairly average footie skills showed by Mick on Take Me Out last night. No wonder most of the birds weren't impressed. Although he did get a date in the end. Also, I nearly fell off the couch laughing when he said he's been a professional footballer for the past 3 years!

Haha it was brilliant he was becoming a bit of a crowd villan for a minute when he turned back on one of the girls haha I'm sure he will be reminded of his new found stardom a few times this season , some sort of chant perhaps

I'd almost say poor lad but with all due respect he put himself in for it. I'll confess to not watching all the way through but by all accounts it could've worked out better. Let's hope he got what he went for.

You could all sing Franz Ferdinand's "Take me out" at him next season. Saw it and was trying to remember his second name. Very funny. My light would have been turned off straight away!! Now the guy from Roscommon....ummmm.

Fair play to the lad, he's getting better and better all the time. Can't see us holding onto him for too much longer. Full squad here
